Your Memory Vault - FAQ
Why must I remove photos from albums myself?
Scanner Safety: Our equipment can only scan loose, individual photos.
Aging Adhesives: Many older albums use glue that becomes very strong over time.
Preventing Damage: Removing photos can cause tearing or cracking, and we want you to stay in control of that delicate step.
What sizes and shapes of photos can you scan?
Most Shapes Welcome: We can scan square, rectangular, and panoramic prints.
Minimum Size: 3.5 × 5 inches (89 × 127 mm)
Maximum Size: 8.5 × 11 inches (203 × 254 mm)
How should I organize my loose photos?
Group Them Physically: Sort your photos into piles or envelopes.
Digital Mirroring: Each group becomes its own digital folder or online album.
Label Clearly: Write the folder name on each envelope (e.g., “Family Trip 1998”).
Is scanning the back of a photo included?
Front Only: Standard pricing covers the front image.
Back Text Available: If you want handwritten notes scanned, there is a small per‑photo fee.
Kept Together: Front and back images are delivered side‑by‑side in your digital folder.
Do you fix damaged or faded photos?
Basic Enhancement Included: Every scan gets automatic color and exposure balancing.
Full Restoration Available: Tears, stains, and heavy fading can be repaired for an additional fee.
Custom Quote: Restoration varies by photo, so we provide pricing individually.
How long does the scanning process take?
Standard Turnaround: Most orders are completed within 7 business days.
Larger Projects: Big collections or restoration work may take a little longer.
What payment methods do you accept?
e‑Transfer: Fast and secure.
Cash: Accepted if you prefer paying in person.
Do I get my physical photos back?
Absolutely: All originals, envelopes, and groupings are returned exactly as received.
